Privacy Policy

Reynard is a game, not a data business. You can play without an account, an email, or a wallet. We store the minimum needed to run a fair leaderboard and pay prizes, we don't run ads or third-party trackers, and we never sell data.

• Outlaw name— the public pseudonym you choose. It appears on leaderboards. Please don't use your real name.
• Scores and run inputs — your submitted scores and the shot log of each run, used to verify results by re-simulation.
• SOL address (optional) — only if you provide one, used exclusively to pay prizes. It is never displayed publicly and is only accessible to the administrator.
• IP address (transient) — used in short-lived rate-limit counters to prevent abuse; expires automatically within minutes and is not linked to your name.

This data lives in a managed Redis database (Upstash). Weekly leaderboards expire automatically about 14 days after their cycle ends; the all-time board and player records are kept while the game operates or until you ask us to delete yours.

Your profile (name, optional SOL address) and local progress (lifetime loot, personal best) are saved in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device until you press "Submit score". Clearing site data in your browser removes them. We don't use tracking cookies.

We don't sell or share personal data with third parties. Our infrastructure providers (hosting and the Upstash database) process data on our behalf to run the service. If you use the "share" button, the tweet is composed on X — what you post there is governed by X's terms, not ours.

• Play without submitting — nothing is stored server-side.
• Submit without a SOL address — you rank, but can't be paid.
• Ask us to delete your name, scores and wallet from the boards at any time via the contacts below.
